love it - those squoinky foam-like synths.it's on the radio a lot here in LA but yeah doesn't seem to be a huge hit nationally. same with "low life" which according to radio plays here ought to be the biggest song of the year - or first equal with "one dance"
It reached #43 on the US Billboard chart and was awarded Gold status. That means it sold over 500,000 digital downloads. Not a hit here at all as far as I can tell.
That keyboard sound which was also all over Young Thug's 'Barter 6' from last year puts me in mind of something very late 80s/early 90s....maybe Toni Childs? I don't know if I can bring myself to listen to her though to verify that claim.
